Bread Halwa



Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 100 gm khoya
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • ½ bowl bura (powdered sugar)
  • 1 bowl desi ghee
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • Dry fruits to garnish

Method

Take a large bowl and mix khoya and whole milk in it. Now add raisins and cradomon powder to this mixture and soak the bread slices in it till they turn soft. Try to avoid lumps in the misture else it may ruin the taste.
Now heat ghee in a wok and fry on a low flame this mixture till it turns brown. When the ghee will come to the surface consider it as cooked. Now add some more ghee to add to its taste. Pour the halwa in a dish and garnish it with dry fruits of your choice.
