Ingredients:
150 grams cashew nuts
400 gram sugar
½ tea spoon cardamom powder
500 gram khoya
400 gram sugar
½ tea spoon cardamom powder
500 gram khoya
For garnishing:
Silver foil (opt.)
Method for Kaju Katri:
- Grind dry cashew nuts and keep aside.
- Mix grated khoya and sugar properly.
- In a non – stick pan heat the mixture of khoya snd sugar at slow flame. Stir continually.
- Once sugar dissolves, add cashew powder and cardamom powder.
- Cook and stir continually at slow flame. Cook till soft lumps are formed and the mixture leaves the pan.
- Roll on the slightly greased flat surface. Let it cool at room temperature.
- Apply silver foil and cut in desired shape and size.
- All time favorite and hygienic Kaju Katli is ready to serve.
